Notepad #9

I'm still working on the Mary Margaret beret. The pattern is almost finished, I've got two more rows? Depending on how I count? Then a few rounds of eyelet, and then some mindless knitting, then then decreases. But so far, despite stitch markers I keep having to rip out three or four rows of for one of the ten repeats because the 14 stitches have either multiplied or decreased while I was not paying attention. XD

In other news, this is taking almost as long as a baby afghan. I've bought the yarn for that sweater pattern I keep nattering on about (beautiful copper stuff!) and I'm being to wonder if I bit off a bit more than I'm willing to chew, since this hat is done on the same size needles and it's making me cross-eyed.

Not that that's stopped me from falling in love with another, similarly patterned sweater... http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/agatha-6

Another question is, would I wear a belt like this?

Finally, how fantastic are these book wrappers?!!!

Yay! :D Glad it's coming along, however slowly. ;))

I don't remember the sweater pattern, but it sounds lovely. :)

And that other sweater pattern is very nice too. ;))

I honestly have no idea about whether you'd wear the belt or not. I don't think I'd wear it, but you're probably more adventurous than me in that regard. ;))

And you're already hearing about the Regency-Era outfitting saga on my end... ;))

Tomorrow I figure out the decreases!!! So this project could be done by the end of the week!!!

It is a lovely sweater, and I will either agonize over it, or make most of the shaping up as I go along.

I think I don't have the wardrobe for the belt. I can't quite picture how to style it with a skirt. But it's cute...

Best of luck in the Regency outfitting.

Yay!!! :D

;)) I suppose that's a plan.

Fair enough. :) It'd be an interesting project to figure out what to wear it with though. ;))

Thanks. *hugs back*

Sorry, I just saw those book wrappers, and they are...fantastic. ;)) I want them now, though I'm not sure what I'd put them on. I love the "In Forks, Send Help" one particularly. ;))

Hehe, that's because I just snuck the link in because it wasn't worth a separate post. ;))

I thought "In Forks, Send Help" was cute, but since I have no intention of reading Twilight using that one would be false advertising.

I'm seriously considering printing up the Narnia one, though... or more likely the "Go Away I'm Reading".

(Oh, and if you think of any other clever sort of sayings, I bet I could put together a similar cover for other fandoms. So far, I've only thought of "In Attolia, TTYL" ;)) )

Aha! I was wondering if that was what it was, but I wasn't quite sure. ;))

True! But it would've been nice for the time(s? I think I only skimmed bits when I wrote my essay on it) I read it. And it's just clever. ;))

:D Yay! You'll have to let me know how it works. ;))

(OOH! :D That'd be great! I can't think of anything off the top of my head, but I'll let you know if I think of something later. :) )
