Squeezing Under the Wire

12-12 rohan pocket final
Somehow, deadlines always help in getting stuff done. The end of the year and being able to use the completed: 2012 tag on this project since all I had left was little stuff turned out to be just enough. I freehanded my initials and the year after cutting the slit down the middle. It wasn't the most efficient way of doing them, but I didn't know how much to allow for binding the slit so they had to be added afterward.

I'd say it's about 88% hand-work; the bias tape is sewn together and the inside of the seams are done by machine.

Yay! :D I'm glad you got it finished (I should set deadlines! Lots of deadlines! For all my projects!). :) It looks lovely. :D

I've just started one knitting project; first time using a pattern, and I've already messed it up. XD The good news is it's just a dropped row on the bottom, and I think I can just shrink it by a row on the top and it'll still be symmetric, though just a little short. ;))

:D It was as easy as I assumed it would be. The hard part was sitting down and doing it. ;)) (Yes! They help especially if there's something happening that isn't self imposed. ;)) )

Oh dear. ;)) What sort of project? Is it stretchable?

Good! :) Hehe, yes, that is usually the hardest part about most things, I find. (Hmmm, now the question is coming up with something important that's not self-imposed for a deadline. ;)) )

Yeah, not a very auspicious start. :P Oh, it's a washcloth, so it should be fine. ;)) Just a bit frustrating.
