Yup, the tree is cabled. (I had enough yarn leftover to make the 3 hour sweater, which means I'm going to have two tops that are the same color...)

This tree may not be where you'd want to start... ;)) But after awhile it starts to make sense. ;) (Well... no problem, really. :p It's just a lot of red when I have them next to each other. ;)) )

No, I was thinking a simple cable, maybe in a hat or scarf or cowl. ;)) Glad it does form a pattern at a certain point. ;) (True... But don't put them next to eachother then. ;) ;)) )
