I remember reading lots of Robin Hood books. Robin Hood by Paul Creswic, The Outlaws of Sherwood Forest by Robin McKinley, Robin's Country by Monica Furlong, The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood by Howard Pyle, Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott... Most of them have Maid Marion in them, and the first three have Marian joining the Merry Men for feats of archery and daring-do. In Outlaws, she's a better archer than Robin and takes his place in a shooting match!
Fortunately for me, I have an outfit that puts me in a very Robin-Hood-ish mood even if it isn't quite Lincoln Green.

The necklace is a bracelet a friend made for me. I added a friendship bracelet, and voila! instant choker. Very glamourous, and it won't get tangled up in branches or vines while trekking through the forest. ;-)
The top is a green and brown knit top I found in a thrift store.
The skirt is my favourite 1904 re-creation piece.
