Comics I quite like:
...and because it doesn't feel quite right to have only two three (I keep adding more...) links, a meme as well:
Rules
- Put your music player on Shuffle.
- For each question, press the next button for your answer
- You must write that song name down, no matter how silly it sounds.

Date: 2012-03-06 03:37 am (UTC)Ooh, these memes are always fun. ;)) I love the answers to "WHAT DO YOU LIKE IN A GUY/GIRL?" and "WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE WHEN YOU GROW UP?"---wasn't Boadicea the Celtic War Queen? *checks* Yep, she was. ;)) And for "WHAT DO YOU THINK WHEN YOU SEE THE PERSON YOU LIKE?"---nods knowingly. ;) ;))
I do agree, though, that the shuffle button never seems to do quite a good enough job. :P

Date: 2012-03-06 02:54 pm (UTC)"WHAT DO YOU LIKE IN A GUY/GIRL?" was... I mean, out of ALL my music... something that was both semi-applicable andwould require mental gymnastics before it'd seem OK...
I thought wanting to be Boadicia when I grew up was kind of cute, though I'd rather not be dragged to Rome in chains before my death. ;))
No comment on "WHAT DO YOU THINK WHEN YOU SEE THE PERSON YOU LIKE?" :p

Date: 2012-03-07 02:53 am (UTC):D! I know! It was quite funny...
True, true! ;))
Hey, maybe it just means you have strong feelings for that person. ;)
Also, I just did this and my results made even less sense then your's, which is how it always goes with me and these things. :P

Date: 2012-03-07 03:25 am (UTC)On the other hand, I doubt I could find the thing I'm thinking of, so that's a moot point. ;)) *trots off to find and read Delilah Dirk*

Date: 2012-03-08 11:43 pm (UTC)I think I'm just as happy to come back to it when it's come to a wrap-up of the story, though. I first found it while the last page was in the middle of the prologue. :)
I guess it's more or less what one would expect from the title? From my reading notes: ...explosions, escapes, death-defying leaps galore and while you know more-or-less what to expect from the characters there's not much depth to them...

Date: 2012-03-09 10:20 pm (UTC)Very true. :) It means you can read it all at once and not have to wait forever for it to come out bit-by-bit. ;) Though, the artist/author was very good about updating weekly, which helps a ton. :)
;)) Yeah, that sounds about right. I thought it was a pretty fun romp, even if there wasn't particularly a lot of depth to it. :)

Date: 2012-06-07 05:16 pm (UTC)I've read (or started reading!) the other three on your list too! I absolutely love the artwork in Harfang -- it reminds me of Mori Kaoru's work in Otoyomegatari.
Have you read Unsounded or Gunnerkrigg Court? They're both long and unfinished and full-colour. Unsounded is a high fantasy (I guess? but without the tropes you'd expect from your typical fantasy world-builder) comedy about a girl and her zombie. [Not for kids because of a) swearing; b) violence and fairly graphic gore; c) occasional remarks of the kind that people used to say weren't for "mixed company".] Gunnerkrigg Court is also fantasy but it's set in a British boarding school and was described by one reviewer as "Harry Potter as written by Lemony Snicket and set in an Industrial Complex designed by Lewis Carroll."

Date: 2012-06-07 10:16 pm (UTC).... oooh, yes, Harfang does remind me of Otoyomegatari a bit. I hadn't made that connection. :D
I've never heard of Unsounded, but I read/started reading Gunnerkrigg Court some time ago after seeing your fanart for it. Good stuff, along with Dr McNinja and The Dreamer...
