Wolves excerpt
Please feel free to assume that Charlie Phelps is an Inspector Detector. Also...
Kingsward is finished! I wrote 'The End' and everything! (And by everything, I mean there was Bekky smuggling, despite a few efforts on the story's part to make it more implausible than it already was... ^_^ )

Wolves excerpt
"What book?" asked Eileen.
"This one," said Lowell, pulling a slim, leatherbound journal out of his coat. He set it on the table. "You know how you always said Granddad was a bad influence? Tonight I have started a record of my own. For starters, I am now a biblioklept. Also, I had to knock Charlie Phelps out."

Date: 2012-11-30 01:52 am (UTC)...Does that mean Charlie Phelps is not actually an Inspector Detector and you're trying to mislead us? *raised eyebrows and querying expression* Or am I over thinking this, tricksy author? ;))
And congrats on finishing Kingsward! :D And you doubted you could get it done. ;) Question, though---is Wolves still your official NaNo novel? And do you win NaNo twice? ;) ;))

Date: 2012-11-30 04:15 pm (UTC)Too stubborn to quit, that's me. ;)) Wolves is being written under the title NaNoA and Kingsward was NaNoB. I posted it on the website as 'Double Booked' so by my version of the rules I will have to complete both of them and cross 100,000 to 'win'...

Date: 2012-12-11 01:51 am (UTC)My scenario for the events surrounding Charlie Phelps' unconsciousness is as follows: the book was evidence for one of the Inspector Detector's cases, therefore he would not voluntarily share it with Lowell, who was then forced to knock Phelps out in order to obtain this fascinating volume. :D
