So, in the 'I-have-too-many-projects-anyway-what's-one-more' category:

I picked up a man's suit coat at the thrift store yesterday and with any luck at all I can modify it to look like that... Of course, it could just be a spectacular fail but it never hurts to try...

And in the 'Huh-that's-super-cool-maybe-someday-I-could-try-that' category:

Obviously, the best socks ever and probably more fun than I want to have to make. ;))

Bonus: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/gryffindor-pride-socks
Bonus bonus: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/hufflepuff-pride-socks because I'd be a Hufflepuff if I were a HP fan...

Triple bonus:http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-architect-of-rivendell

Also, since the first try at knitting the Mary Margaret Beret failed spectacularly (I begin to suspect it cannot be knit in the round, but I'm going to give it another go with a larger needle size) I ripped it out. I haven't started anything for my doll, either.

If I actually had both ingredients... not that I want to make chalkboard paint at the moment, but it's always been interesting...

Also in the things that could be done category. ;))

First off...your background appears to be missing...just in case you didn't know. ;))

That jacket is lovely! I hope you get to make it and then you can share pictures and give ideas/hints... ;)

And, woah, very neat socks! Though rather complicated too, I imagine. ;))

Aww, too bad your first attempt at the beret didn't go so well. :( I hope the second goes splendidly! :)

No, I didn't know that. It's still showing up for me, even on a different browser than the one I usually use. XD

Yup, I've got pictures lined up of what it looked like before I attacked the suit coat with scissors. ;)

Not something I want to tackle without a pattern, that's for sure. ;))

I was very disappointed. And I had to close my eyes while ripping it out especially when I got back down to the part that had looked more or less like it was supposed to. :( But now we're back to a clean slate and a different plan of attack so...

Well, it's back again now. I'm not sure what happened; maybe it went on a short journey? ;))

Yay! :D

Nope, definitely not. ;))

Aww... :( *hugs* Have you started again? Or not yet?

An unexpected journey, you mean? ;)) (It's hosted remotely, so the only thing I can think of is that it got too many hits last month? But the timing seems wrong for that.)

I have. I now have all the ribbing done again (it goes much faster flat, actually) and am about to start the lace portion. ^_^

Precisely. ;) (Ah, then anything could've happened to it! Maybe they accidentally deleted the file and then put it back up?)

Yay! :D I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Hope the coat makeover works out well. :)

Those are definitely the best socks ever. Crazy difficult looking, though!
